Murphys Waves are delighted to announce that we are bringing the #WorldsBestWavemachines to the USA once again…truly America’s favourite wave machines!!
Located in Thornton, Colorado at the Margaret W. Carpenter Recreation Center, the new “BREAKER” Wave Machine is part of a $13 million dollar renovation of the Recreation Centre which will see the City get a new 6-lane lap pool with adjacent aqua-exercise pool, lazy river, bubble pit, activity pool with zero-depth entry, play structure and of course a Wave Pool!! We are delighted to be working with Pinkard Construction and Ohlson Lavoie Collaborative to bring this wonderful facility to the people of Thornton, CO.
**UPDATE** JUNE 2021 – The “BREAKER” Wave Machine has been fully manufactured, tested, packed and shipped to site, ready for one of our specialist installations engineers to oversee the installation.
**UPDATE** AUGUST 2021 – The new Margaret W. Carpenter Recreation Center “BREAKER” Wave Machine has arrived on site is ready to be installed. The indoor aquatic area of the Recreation Center, which includes the new wave pool, is scheduled to be reopen following its renovation by the end of 2021!
**UPDATE** DECEMBER 2021 – Capable of generating waves up to 3ft the new “BREAKER” Wave Machine has now been installed and commissioned! Murphys Waves specialist installation engineer has just returned from Colorado where he installed, tested, and commissioned the new wave machine, ready for the grand opening!!
