Murphys Waves recent installation of their Double Surf-Air has been a smash hit with guests at Tropical Islands. None more so than Iman Basiri!! The Bundesliga star visited Tropical Islands in July and was one of the first people to try out the new attraction. Basiri, a footballer with Hertha Berlin, said:
“The Surf-Air is very fun; surfing feels like you have a free ride from nature. It feels like you have harnessed the power and are enjoying it, it feels like you forget everything else in the world except the waves and you.”
Unlike other Surfing Simulators, the Murphys Waves Surf-Air features a unique “Soft-Fall” air-cushioned ride surface along with “Vari-Flow” pumps. This along with other innovations resulted in the Surf-Air being awarded TUV safety accreditation. The first and only surfing simulator to be granted this internationally recognised safety certification!!
